Tacoma Mother Daughter Portraits
Spring is in the air, and it’s time to start thinking about booking your Tacoma mother daughter portraits with AHP! This is such a fun time of year to set aside a day for you and your mama, and I love offering these mini portrait sessions to my clients.
I have an awesome studio in downtown Tacoma, which is the best spot for mother daughter portraits. We get gorgeous natural light in the studio from the wall of windows, and I am constantly finding new ways to decorate the space, switch up the backgrounds, and add fun décor and furniture for portrait sessions.
Portraits for Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is less than two months away (mark your calendars for May 9th)! A mother daughter portrait session is an ah-mazing way to celebrate. You can also book your session in advance, and order prints and products from our heirloom-quality selection as a perfect Mother’s Day gift. AHP offers gorgeous albums, canvas wall art, and other fun pieces that moms will love.
Fun Portraits For Graduating Seniors and Their Moms
There are so many reasons to celebrate the mom in your life, but graduating seniors have an extra reason. They are about to leave the nest and start their next big adventure. This is just as big of a deal for parents as it is for kids. A mother daughter portrait session gives you and your mom a fun day to remember before you graduate.
In addition to shooting weddings, family portraits, and headshots, I am a senior portrait photographer! I love working with and empowering seniors and making sure that their entire senior year is captured for them to remember. I offer mother daughter portraits to the AHP Model Team girls each year as one of their monthly sessions. It is so much fun getting to spend the day with the girls and their moms, and I love seeing the family resemblance. I host the moms and daughters at Studio 253, and we make sure everyone feels pampered before their time in the spotlight.
What to Wear to Your Mother Daughter Portrait Session
For a fun, modern mother daughter portrait session, you can pick out outfits that complement each other without being too matchy-matchy. I love when my clients select a color palette for their portraits. This gives the portraits a cohesive look (which is especially important for these mother daughter sessions) and emphasizes your similarities! If you love wearing blue, you can each pick a different shade of denim.
If you want to have fun with prints or colors, you may decide to go with floral blouses and jeans! Or you can wear a bold red, balanced out with neutral tones. And you can never go wrong with solid black outfits – this is a timeless look.
Mostly, you want your outfits to speak to who you are! You can have fun with tie-dye, rock some school spirit wear, dress up, or go casual.
Contact us now to book your mother daughter portrait session. We’ll be featuring our new 4×4 box at Studio 253!
