There are so many reasons to have couple portraits in Seattle and Tacoma done with AHP! You shouldn’t feel like you need a special occasion to have couples portraits done. They are such an awesome way to celebrate your love for each other. And it is a great way to remember this time in your lives. I have so much fun with my couples during portrait sessions, and I am excited to share two ah-mazing couple sessions in Seattle and Tacoma.
When to Book Your Couple Portraits
Are you coming home from college and want to have your parents meet the new boyfriend? Or maybe you have a few days off during the holiday season and want to make sure you have cute couple photos. I shoot couple portraits year-round, so it is easy to find a time to book your session.
Think about what kind of portraits you want. Do you want them to be indoors or outdoors? I have an awesome studio in Tacoma where we can take fun portraits with natural light – no matter what the weather may be. But there are also so many spots for great outdoor portraits. When you book an AHP Couples Session, we will plan out the perfect location and time for your portraits.

Tacoma Couple Portraits in the Winter
The Museum of Glass in Tacoma is one of the best spots for portraits. Georgiabelle and Nacho chose to do their couple portrait session here in December over winter break. It may have been cold and wet, but we got great photos. I am so grateful that my clients trust me. We walked around the museum grounds together, and these two had so much fun dancing and playing.
I have a whole guide of what to wear for family portraits but let me just say that Georgiabelle knocked it out of the park with her winter outfits. She and Nacho wore cozy sweaters and their looks were coordinated without being matchy-matchy. I just love her tall boots and his dressy shoes.
Seattle Couple Portraits in the Summer
For these summer portraits, I met Brooke and Andrew at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. We had some mid-day fun celebrating their sweet relationship. Brooke was on the Class of 2019 AHP Model Team, and it was so fun to see her again. I just love it when my model team members keep in touch and I get to capture more of their lives!
Golden Gardens has an ah-mazing beach, so these two packed a blanket and had fun in the sand. Andrew rolled up his jeans so these two could wade into the water together barefoot. You don’t have to travel far to get beachy portraits in Washington! These two are so playful, so of course we captured candid portraits and shared tons of laughs.

You can decorate your home with gorgeous prints and products from your couples session. From wall canvases to albums, I offer my clients heirloom-quality products to remember their session. These beautiful portraits shouldn’t just sit on your computer or phone. They should be printed and displayed.
