These Chambers Bay family portraits will inspire you to book your session with AHP. Chambers Bay in Tacoma is such a fun location, with ah-mazing scenery and perfect PNW vibes. The Monroe family chose to book their session in the spring when the grass was dry and tan. We had awesome light that day with clear blue skies.
Chambers Bay Family Portrait Outfit Inspiration
The Monroe family knocked it out of the park with their coordinated outfits. The dry grass and greenery of the golf course work especially well with jewel tones and the Monroe family based their color palette around a rich, sapphire blue. Mom and Dad wore dark blue tops with dark jeans, while the boys picked patterned shirts to wear with their khakis. What a good-looking family!
High School Senior Portraits and More
I did senior portraits for the oldest Monroe son, and it was so much fun to see him again for this family session. I simply love having repeat clients and building relationships with families. Getting to capture important milestones is a huge part of why I love what I do. I have shot senior portraits for high school seniors who later book me as their wedding photographer. I am so grateful to these clients for trusting me to capture their biggest moments.
When to Schedule Family Portraits
Before booking your family portraits, it is important to have a season and a location in mind. Chambers Bay has dry grass in the late spring through early fall, so you’ll want to book your session during this timeframe if you want your portraits to look like this! If you prefer a cozy, winter wonderland, you may want to book a session in November or December. My schedule fills up quickly, so reach out soon to get your session on the books.
