Trinity Tree Farm Wedding
In the late August sunshine, our happy couple, Nobi and Edwin, celebrated their Trinity Tree Farm wedding. They exchanged vows on top of a picture-perfect hilltop in Issaquah, surrounded by friends and family. Earlier this year, we held their engagement shoot at the lovely Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood. It was a gorgeous sunny day to capture their rustic, country portraits! Nobi and Edwin have the cutest story, which you can read about in their engagement post. I have loved getting to go along with them on their journey and capture every minute of it!
Ms. to Mrs.
As the AHP community grows, I get the privilege of seeing my seniors grow up and have weddings of their own! Nobi was one of my 2019 seniors who had her gorgeous session with me at Ft. Stilly just 3 years ago. I cannot believe it has been that long already!! It brings me so much joy to see her life change and to be able to capture it all for her and her family to enjoy, year after year.
Venue: The Barn at Trinity Tree Farm
Nobi and Edwin chose a spectacular location for their summertime wedding. With 40 acres of hilltop land, Trinity Tree Farm matched the couple’s aesthetic perfectly. Rows of white chairs covered the lawn, leading toward a large wooden arch which made for the best backdrop for their mid-ceremony portraits. Arches are a smart way to pull focus to important areas in wide-open, outdoor venues. They can be customized to fit any style and look so great in photographs! Just look how good these two looked walking down the aisle!
Small Details Make All the Difference
Nobi and Ediwn’s reception was filled with beautiful details. From the handcrafted signs to the thoughtfully arranged flowers, and the homemade cake, created by the groom’s mother! There were small touches everywhere and many with shades of blue to match the couple’s colors. These details are some of my favorites to capture for my couples. Just like in marriage, so much time and consideration are put into the small things. And it is those small things that make all the difference! I want to make sure these special items and moments can be shared by the couple for years to come.
Getting Everyone Together
Weddings are a rare, special moment in a couple’s relationship where they are able to share their love with all their friends and family in the same place. As life goes on, there are very few times when that is possible! That is part of what makes weddings so magical. One of my favorite shots from this day was an aerial shot we captured of the whole group! We got tons of fun images with the wedding party and of course mom and dad, but seeing everyone gathered together in one shot, that is a moment worth remembering!
