The Boss Babe Series | Makeup by Tracie
As a female entrepreneur in Tacoma, I am all about empowering and uplifting other women. Supporting small, women-owned businesses is so important to me. I am thrilled to share more about a few of my favorite businesses in my Boss Babe Series, including Makeup by Tracie. I am lucky enough to work with Tracie Campbell full-time, as she is the professional hair and makeup artist for the majority of my senior portrait sessions, boudoir photography, and weddings.
Makeup by Tracie
For over 20 years, Tracie Campbell has been a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist. She has worked in commercial, film, and print. She also has years of experience in bridal makeup. Tracie originally started her own freelance makeup business because there was so much demand in her area for it.
Makeup continues to be a passion of hers, and it is so clear how much fun she has doing it! She feels that it will always be part of her life. Starting her own business gave her control of her schedule and allowed her to be as creative as she wanted.
Getting to Know This Boss Babe
This awesome boss babe describes herself as super friendly but also super awkward. She radiates joy and is one of the most creative women I have met. I have so much fun working with her and simply love her style. I know each person who has their hair and makeup done by Tracie before a portrait session loves her and her work. AHP seniors also have the option to add her on as a stylist for their portrait session, and she switches up their hair and makeup looks with each outfit change.
Tracie credits her success to her continued interest in the art of makeup. She has never stopped educating herself through books, taking classes, and practicing and improving her skills.

Tracie loves making women of all ages look and feel their best by enhancing their natural features. Her ideal client is someone who radiates inner beauty to her outer self. It is so much fun to see Tracie work with my high school seniors. She pampers them before their senior portrait sessions and boosts their confidence, all while highlighting their natural features and making sure they look their best.
