Tacoma Boudoir Photography | AHP Boudoir Sessions

Boudoir

July 30, 2020

If you are looking for the best in Tacoma boudoir photography, you have come to the right place. There are so many reasons to book an AHP boudoir session. This is one of the best gifts to give your spouse on your wedding day, but it’s also an ah-mazing gift to give yourself! Boudoir is all about celebrating your body and feeling beautiful.

It’s About Confidence

So many women think they should wait to have a boudoir session until they lose weight, or they change their hair, or they feel better about themselves in general. But boudoir will give you confidence in how you look right now. These sessions are so empowering.

I have the best team of pro hair and makeup artists to make sure you are pampered before your session. We’ll celebrate who you are and how you look, and I promise you will see yourself in a new way. I will capture you in your best light and you will have portraits to treasure for years to come.

Scheduling Boudoir Portraits

You shouldn’t feel like a boudoir session is something you can only do once! I have clients who do a boudoir session every five to ten years, and it’s an incredible way to celebrate your journey. If you have your first session when you are young, you can see how your body changes over the years. It’s a great way to look back on everything you have been through.

Boudoir is something you should do before and after having a baby, too. Your body goes through incredible changes during pregnancy and after. An empowering boudoir session can help you see those changes in an ah-mazing light. It’s such a postpartum confidence boost, and I love scheduling boudoir sessions with new mamas!

What to Wear

There are so many options for what to wear to an AHP boudoir session. You can keep it casual with an oversized T and booty shorts, or glam it up with a lace corset and matching panties. Fishnet stockings give your boudoir session a pinup vibe. You can kick things up a notch with a pair of sexy black heels or go barefoot for a cozier look.

The main thing to keep in mind when selecting your boudoir wardrobe is how you feel in the garments. If you love rocking a lace robe, bring it to your session. If you’re more of a cozy sweatshirt and shorts kind of gal, then wear those. I’ll be directing you with fun poses to make sure we show off the garments you chose and how gorgeous you look in them!
