July Wedding at Woodland Meadows
Lauren and Ryan had the most beautiful July wedding at Woodland Meadows Farms. This was part two of their love celebrations, and they made sure it was a day to remember! Like many couples in 2020/21, Lauren and Ryan had a Covid-friendly wedding. Which meant the big day they had planned became a much smaller, backyard wedding, and the big afterparty was moved to the summer of 2022.
L&R Ceremony Part Two!
After much anticipation, I am happy to say that these two lovebirds finally got their big celebration! Lauren and Ryan tied the knot for the second time at Woodland Meadows Farms. This adorable, tree-covered, Snohomish venue was the perfect place to set the scene for their July ceremony. The woodland surrounding made the day feel like a scene from a storybook and provided ample amounts of shade. Which was much needed on this almost 100-degree day!!
Love, Friends, and Family
Despite the heat, everyone was in good spirits! The bridesmaids and groomsmen were non-stop entertainment! Between the beer koozies, funny poses, and adorable photobombs from their kids, picture time with the wedding party was a blast! It is so important to set aside ample time for portraits, especially with kids. That way you can make sure to capture all those fun in-between moments and get shots with everyone. This group was full of troopers on this hot day and we were able to snag tons of great shots!
Family Portraits
After the couple’s first look, we took portraits with Lauren and Ryan’s kids on the rustic wooden swing, and you could just feel the excitement! Lauren looked terrific, and the two kids were so cute they almost stole the show! In addition to family portraits, we captured stunning bride and groom portraits of Lauren and Ryan in the cascading forest sunlight. I mean, how can you beat a shot like that?? The way these two look at each other says it all. It was the most perfect day.
Celebrating Their Special Day
I just loved the energy this group had all day, and the obvious love they each shared for the bride and groom. They kept the fun going all night long, and on to the dance floor! Lauren and Ryan are absolutely AH-mazing together, and I loved being part of their special day. You can really feel the thought and care that the couple put into their wedding. After shooting weddings for nearly 20 years, I only take a select few every year. This is because each one is special. I want to ensure that I put as much time into capturing a couple’s special day as they did planning it. I am so happy that Lauren and Ryan finally got to celebrate their union with everyone they love, and I am honored that they trusted me to capture it for them! Congrats to the happy couple!
