Indoor Family Portraits
Indoor family portraits are one of the best ways to encapsulate the precious, ever-fleeting moments that we share with our loved ones. They are also a fun experience to have all year long! While scheduling outdoor photo sessions can heavily depend on the weather, indoor shoots can be done any time, making them perfect for the colder months. We can still get such AH-mazing shots without having to rely on the sunshine! Think of how cute a holiday cookie baking shoot with your kids would be, or having everyone gathered by the fireplace. The options are truly endless!

In Studio Photo Work
At AHP photography, we also have the option to photograph your family in my Tacoma studio space (Studio 253). This is a great option for those who have already had photos taken in their home, or just don’t feel comfortable photographing their family space. I completely understand! You can still have all the aspects you want in a family shoot, like furry friends, fun poses or specialty items. Check out some of my family studio work below to see an example. To a lot of people, the thought of gathering up your entire family in matching shirts/sweaters sounds not only like a lot of time and effort, but also, kind of terrible? I’m here to tell you that your experience doesn’t have to be that way! In fact, family portraits can be a really fun time. They are a great opportunity to build memories with your kids, spouse, or even your friends that have become like your family! My goal as a photographer is to make your session whatever you want it to be! So ditch the matching sweaters if they don’t make you happy, and opt for something you do like. As long as your outfits adhere to a cohesive color scheme, the photos will look unified. And, you will have captured great memories to show people for years to come!
