High School BFF Photoshoot
The best part about these high school BFF photoshoots is of course that the girls had all their friends with them!! Whether there are two or twelve, sharing memories with your BFF(s) is such an important part of life, especially during senior year! I love offering sessions for friends to be able to have fun with each other and capture some truly special moments between them. Sometimes professional photos can sound intimidating, but with your BFF by your side, you have all the support you need! And we all are there to share in the laughs, makeup, and crazy poses!
Why BFF Photos?
The sad truth, although let’s not think about it now, is that our high school BFFs will have to leave eventually! Whether it is for college, a job, or any other opportunity life throws at you. Boo! While your friendship will last the distance, sometimes it is nice to have a reminder for those moments when you are missing them a little extra. BFF photos are great to schedule during junior year, before the chaos of your senior year, Or even after you graduate and each of you heads off to college. Having a few hours set aside just for this experience is an awesome way to celebrate all your years of friendship! Plus, the photos make the best gift to send your BFF off with! Hello, cute dorm decor anyone?!
What to Wear to Your BFF Shoot
Now that you have your session booked, you and your BFF can start thinking of what to wear! Maybe you have special jewelry, articles of clothing, or other items that you two share. I always encourage friends to bring anything that is important to their friendship or that they want to show off! It can also be a fun time to dress similarly or even “twin” for BFF photos. In one of the shoots, the girls each wore their white Air Force 1s for the portraits. The shots turned out so good! But the most important tip I have: wear what you enjoy! Just like AHP senior photos, BFF shoots are meant to be an experience you cherish for your whole life. So have fun and make the shoot your own!
Inviting Your Friend to Senior Portraits
Another fun way to make fantastic memories before the end of senior year is by having your BFF accompany you to your senior photo session! I always encourage seniors who are having their AHP session with me to bring along their friends or family for some support! It makes the day so much fun and they can even help be your lighting assistant! Love!
