Fall Wedding in Tacoma
After having to change the anticipated date numerous times and even change the year (thanks to Covid) Amy and Matt finally had their Fall wedding in Tacoma. They tied the knot in October of 2021 and I could not be more excited for them!!!
What a ride it has been for these two! I first captured the engagement session for the couple back in July, in downtown Tacoma and the Point Defiance flower gardens. After how AH-mazing their first session was, I could not wait to capture this special day for them as well!
Historic Venue
Amy and Matt’s intimate ceremony was held near their house at the historic Annie Wright Schools in the beautiful Raynor Chapel. How fun to celebrate your special day so near to your beloved home. And at such a stunning venue! After so long, seeing Amy and Matt finally next to each other on the steps of the chapel, as man and wife, was breathtaking!
For the reception, everyone headed to Stanley & Seafort’s, where they prepared a great spread of PNW style cuisine. Which meant plenty of delicious seafood! It was a gorgeous fall day and the leaves were out, sprinkling the ground in a perfect array of fall colors that contrasted so well with the chosen wedding décor!
Color-Coordinated Wedding Party
Speaking of beautiful, our lovely bride was the picture of elegance in her sleek, off-the-shoulder gown. The only thing more beautiful, was the shared glances of love between her and Matt throughout the day! To accompany the bride, Amy’s party wore vibrant blue dresses. But that was not all! To match the wedding, all her friends even wore green dresses too! How cute were they???? These ladies perfectly complemented the blue and green accent colors that adorned the venue, including those gorgeous fresh flower vines!
After a long, stressful planning process, it was so wonderful seeing friends and family finally able to come together. I just love capturing these fun group shots!! Especially for such a fun couple! I feel honored that Amy and Matt allowed me to capture these special moments for them, and I wish them a lifetime of continued happiness!
Vendors
The vendors and everyone involved with planning the events of the day did AH-mazing work to help celebrate these two love birds, who had been dating for nearly a decade before this gorgeous day!! Everything for the rehearsal and reception was coordinated by Angela and her team at Blue Wings Events. What a moment in the making!
