Fall Fort Steilacoom Portraits
I simply love capturing fall Fort Steilacoom portraits. The November light is stunning, and Fort Stilly has gorgeous trees, rustic fencing, and twin silos. It is a versatile spot, and I could shoot here in any season.
And, yes, that means that Fort Steilacoom is a popular spot for family portraits any time of year. Just ask the family in the background of the first portrait! Luckily, it’s a big enough place that we can explore and feel like we otherwise have each spot to ourselves.
Annual Family Portraits
It is so important to book a family portrait session every year, especially when you have kids. They grow and change so much from year to year. Documenting those milestones will give you cherished memories and portraits to look back on.
AHP Family Portrait Sessions are all about having fun and capturing your family’s dynamics. This includes a mix of candid and posed portraits! I love seeing everyone’s personality come out throughout the portrait session as they get more comfortable. Especially with younger kids!
PNW Portraits
The Courtney Family is a ton of fun, with an older daughter and a set of twin boys. They certainly have their hands full! Dad and the boys were happy to participate in goofy portraits, with one twin hanging onto each of dad’s arms.
The ladies chimed in with sweet smiles. I just love how these give snuggled up for cozy fall portraits! You can tell how much fun they have together.
What to Wear for Fall Fort Steilacoom Portraits
Deciding what to wear for family portraits may feel overwhelming, but you will find plenty of inspiration on my blog. This fun family chose a PNW theme for their outfits, with cozy vests, flannel, and hiking boots. The twin boys matched in heathered gray shirts and jeans. Everyone else coordinated their looks without matching exactly. The red, black, and grey hues were perfect for this fall day at Fort Steilacoom.
